Employment Seminars are for F-1 students interested in Curricular Practical Training (CPT) and Optional Practical Training (OPT). The seminars are designed to inform students of the rules, regulations, and procedures regarding practical traninig. Students are required to attend one of these seminars before meeting with an advisor to talk about or apply for practical training.
Because students must be in F-1 status for one academic year before becoming eligible to apply for CPT or OPT, we ask that you wait until your second semester to attend an employment seminar.
Tax forms and instructions are available at the Office of International Programs, Memorial Union 116 and can also be downloaded from irs.gov/formspubs (federal) and nd.gov/tax/ (state). April 15 is the filing deadline.
The F-M Community Bicycle Workshop is a community-run learning space, committed to the reclamation and distribution of recycled bicycles by providing tools, education and an inclusive space for all members of our diverse community. This is a place where people can bring their bicycles to fix them by using provided tools and supplies as well as benefit from the help of knowledgeable people. In addition, at the bicycle workshop, volunteers help to take apart recycled bicycles and build new ones.
