About Transgender Day of Remembrance
-Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDOR) is recognized annually on November 20th to memorialize people who have lost their lives or suffered due to violent acts committed on the basis of gender identity. Through the vigil, we express love and respect for transgender people in the face of national indifference and hatred. Day of Remembrance reminds non-transgender people that we are their sons, daughters, parents, friends, and partners.
